Our difference
At the heart of Panania Childcare is what we like to call Samsala.
It’s the word we’ve come up with to represent the joyful loving child - curious, imaginative, connected and filled with possibility.
It gives a name to something that has always been at the heart of our centres: our belief that childhood should be treasured and that every child should experience the freedom to wonder, imagine, create, belong and become uniquely themselves.

Our Philosophy has been shaped over the years by our educators, families and children along with contemporary early childhood education philosophies. Our centres weave together these different perspectives to deliver a service that is unique and tailored allowing us to truly get to know the children and families within our care.

We needed a way to describe the vision we hold for every child, so we created a name… Samsala.
For us, Samsala represents a joyful, loving childhood — filled with curiosity, imagination, connection and unlimited possibility.
It gives a name to something that has always been at the heart of what we do at our Panania childcare centres: our belief that childhood should be treasured and that every child should experience the freedom to wonder, imagine, create, belong and become uniquely themselves.

The heart behind the Samsala journey
For Kara, early childhood education has always been about far more than care — it is about honouring childhood.
As an owner and educator, Kara believes every child deserves to grow within a small, nurturing environment where they are deeply known, genuinely loved and given the freedom to discover who they are. Her belief in the importance of authentic connection is the heart behind her centres. It permeates her vision, philosophy and values of Love, Family, Courage and Spirituality.
